As such, Warner Bros. Discovery recently posted job openings, looking for people in major positions to participate in the development of a new AAA project. A sequel coming to Hogwarts Legacy? Let’s see what potentially exciting things these offers have to tell us.
Hogwarts Legacy is recruiting new teachers
While the trend among studios at the moment is towards layoffs, this is not the case for the team behind Hogwarts Legacy. A real hit, the game was one of the best-selling games of 2023. That was all it took for Warner Bros., which intends to capitalize on this success and develop its new golden egg franchise. The American giant is recruiting for major positions in this regard.

This details the missions expected in this position: “We are looking for a Lead Technical Artist with extensive experience in Unreal and Python/C++ to join our studio in Salt Lake City. You will be part of an agile team of technical artists armed with the latest development technologies on a high caliber AAA title”.
A more ambitious sequel in sight for Hogwarts Legacy?
While reading “high caliber AAA title”, we obviously can’t help but think about a sequel for Hogwarts Legacy. Let’s remember in this regard that the end of the first game left little room for DLC or an expansion. Especially since the offer seems to speak of a real project in its own right. The lucky person elected to this new position should therefore work, if not on a sequel, at least a spin-off.
Either way, fans of the original Hogwarts Legacy should be excited about what Warner Bros. is waiting for. for its next candidates. The company places a certain emphasis on the creativity expected by its future employees: “Candidates must push creativity with the freedom to try new things and deliver the best in their work. They must deliver the best experience and anticipate what fans expect”.
It seems that Warner Bros. has great ambitions for its next productions in the magical world of Harry Potter. As good as it was, Hogwarts Legacy sometimes lacked original activities. The studio’s love for Hogwarts and the magical world of JK Rowling, however, was undeniable. Now that the foundations have been well laid, let’s hope that their next production will allow more wizard madness, to the delight of a huge community of fans.
