Until now, the Freebox Ultra’s €49.99/month offer was much more limited than its €59.99/month neighbor. But this has just changed, with the arrival of the TV by Canal bouquet in this formula. No less than 50 television channels, including Disney Chanel, Comédie+ and Eurosport, are now available at no extra cost to subscribers.
Since January 30, the Freebox Ultra continues to shake up the small world of Wi-Fi boxes in France. Not content with being the first WiFi 7 box in France, it also provides access to a plethora of TV channels, streaming services and even Canal+. But that is of course if you opt for the most expensive plan, namely €49.99/month for the first then €59.99/month from the following year.
There is also a second plan, this time at €29.99/month for the first year then €49.99/month, which “only” gives access to the Free 4K player and its 280 TV channels included. A sufficient offer for many subscribers who do not necessarily wish to pay several tens of euros per month to have the best possible streaming offer.

That being said, we don’t object to some additional content either. Free therefore had the excellent idea of including a second bouquet within its offer at €29.99/month, namely TV by Canal. Already present in the premium offer, the latter gives access to around fifty additional TV channels, of which here are some examples:

All of these channels will not replace a subscription to Netflix or Prime Video, but they are a very welcome addition to an already well-stocked TV package. TV by Canal is already available for subscribers to the Freebox Ultra Essential package. Perfect if you are not necessarily a customer of the streaming platforms which are multiplying – especially since the access offered here is via packages with advertising.
