Prices are still high but Nvidia has just made a move and lowered the price of its RTX Founders cards.
As we know, the graphics card market is tight with prices sometimes well beyond what they should be. In this difficult context between inflation and shortage, Nvidia made a move and lowered the price of Founders cards, i.e. the manufacturer’s models.
Nvidia drops prices
With the release of AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX, it’s time for Nvidia to begin a pricing counterattack. Obviously there is no question of selling off the cards but simply of making an effort.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 FE which was sold for 1949 euros is now priced at 1859 euros, i.e. a reduction of 90 euros. The RTX 4080 FE which was at 1469 euros can now be bought at 1399 euros, a drop of 70 euros. Alas the latter is currently out of stock but given the stocks come and go, it’s still good news.
It’s hard to imagine the partner manufacturers also making a move, which is certain is that the arrival of AMD in the equation will kick in the anthill. We hope that cala will continue in the future to return to slightly more normal rates.
