Amazon Prime Video has a few series highlights to offer in July 2023. Joining us today is the 2nd season of the acclaimed comedy series “Good Omens,” which tells the story of a dynamic angel-demon duo who had to stop the apocalypse in season 1. A real spectacle awaits you in season 2, too, because one of the archangels has cut down from heaven and is wandering around on earth without direction.
Erziraphael (“Prodigal Son” star Michael Sheen) and Crowley (“Doctor Who” star David Tennant) soon understand that Archangel Gabriel (“Top Gun – Maverick” actor Jon Hamm) has lost his memory and doesn’t know what he seeks on earth. The angels in heaven are in turmoil and send the inexperienced Muriel (Quelin Sepulveda) to see Erziraphael in Soho to see if they have anything to do with Gabriel’s disappearance.
And indeed: Gabriel turns up at Erziraphael’s house and seeks shelter with him. Erziraphael and Crowley still have no idea what’s behind the amnesia, but in the trailer, Erziraphael is seen saying, “I think I just started a war.” This probably means that Hell has something to do with Gabriel’s condition and that there will be another conflict between the powers that be.
If you have quickly looked through the 2nd season of the series, you can find other series and film highlights in the Amazon Prime Video news. You can also find out from us which titles Amazon Prime Video will soon be deleting.
