Sport is a very attractive business for all the big brands, and basketball is even more so for an American company. This is why Google has chosen to partner with the NBA in order to develop a unique feature.

It is from the official application of the American basketball league that users can now access this new feature called Pixel Arena. Developed in association with Google and available on all mobile devices, this temporary section was deployed especially for the NBA playoffs launched last weekend.

Immersed in basketball news

This famous Pixel Arena comes in the form of a virtual experience that allows you to follow the action of matches live. For this, the user has the possibility of creating his own avatar, then of customizing his appearance with elements (jerseys, shorts, accessories, etc.) bearing the image of the best NBA teams. Mini-games even allow you to unlock additional cosmetic items.

The virtual space notably gives access to a 3D summary of each match that takes place during the playoffs. It should be seen as a more fun way to consult match statistics in real time. In short, the Pixel Arena is practically a video game in its own right.
