Delete the last 15 minutes of web browsing in one click, this is what Google offers with Chromium.

Soon, the Firefox browser will offer an option allowing you to delete, in one click, all data saved (temporarily) during private browsing. Today, Google is announcing a relatively similar feature for Chrome, except that the latter will erase, again in one click, all your traces during classic browsing.

One click to delete your last 15 minutes of browsing on Chrome

Because it can sometimes be urgent or useful to delete your web history in one click, Google is announcing a new way to delete your browsing data in Chrome. For now, however, this new feature is only available on Android.

The principle is simple, just click on the three dots located in the upper right corner of Chrome before selecting “Clear browsing data”. By default, this small operation will delete the last 15 minutes of your browsing activity.

Note that in the Canary version of Google Chrome 120 (web version), Google is currently testing this same option allowing users to easily delete (and in three seconds) the last 15 minutes of browsing history. Practical for quickly hiding your recent activity on the Web.

  • Very good performance
  • Simple and pleasant to use
  • A secure browser

Complete and fluid, Google Chrome has established itself as a free reference for web browsers and is in an excellent position compared to other flagship applications such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge (formerly Internet Explorer). To complete its Windows, Mac and Linux version for computers, the Californian firm also offers a mobile version compatible with Android and iOS.
