Google Contacts recently developed a cleaner version of its “Create Contact” page. This update, spotted by analyst AssembleDebug in version 4.30.50.628193927 of the application, brings various changes to the creation and modification of contacts.

Instead of the old list of extended fields, the new interface now presents only four mandatory fields at the top of the page: first name, last name, company and telephone number. This simplification allows you to focus on the essentials when adding a new contact.

Below these mandatory fields, buttons are now available to add additional information such as email address, birthday date, or postal address. These modifications make data entry more fluid and avoid overloading the screen with non-essential information.

One of the highlights of this new version is the emphasis on the “Notes” field, encouraging users to add additional details about their contacts. Additionally, a new “Favorite” button allows you to quickly add a contact to the favorites list during the creation process.

Another notable improvement is the management of optional fields. Instead of automatically adding all available fields, the “More Fields” option now opens a selection window, providing more control over what information to include.

Although this v4.30.50.628193927 is not yet widely rolled out on the Play Store, it is available for download on APKMirror for those who want to experience these new features now.
