You can use Google Maps not only for navigation and travel, but also just for fun with your spirit of discovery. Satellite images reveal places and objects that are strange and stimulate your imagination.
For example, an image of a strange black structure in the desert of Nevada/USA was shared in the online community Reddit and viewers are wondering what it is. The coordinates are: 36°39’03.0″N 115°41’40.0″W.
There is no 100% answer, but it is likely that these are US military objects. They could be targets that pilots use for combat maneuvers. Creech Air Force Base is located nearby and it can be assumed that the structure is connected to the military base.
Another image on Google Maps also shows a strange appearance that is reminiscent of a UFO. But it could also be an area used by the US military.
Google is also planning to completely revamp the app. The US company is currently distributing an update for Google Maps that brings with it a new design.
