The system could tell you in real time the money to recover on each purchase in the form of cashback depending on the card you use.

Google has big ambitions for mobile payment, as it showed at the Google I/O 2022 conference held this Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

Earn the most money possible by shopping with Google Pay

The search engine will indeed bring back from the dead its Google Wallet digital wallet, which will include the Google Pay mobile payment system as well as all its loyalty cards or transport tickets, and introduce virtual cards in Chrome.

Google does not intend to stop there and is considering a system to indicate to the user which card to use according to the rewards granted by the banks.

Indeed, many banking establishments offer a cashback system, i.e. a small percentage of the amount spent paid back to the customer. Google’s idea is to analyze in real time the best offers according to the e-merchant visited in order to indicate to the buyer which card to use to recover the maximum amount of money.

For the moment, this device is under study and Google does not venture to advance a launch date or even to explain how all this could work. We will therefore have to wait to find out more.
