  • More details of the Google Pixel 7a have been revealed on a leak website.
  • In a video, someone scrolls through the menus of a supposed new Google phone.
  • Apparently, the smartphone has a refresh rate of 90 Hertz and can hold two SIM cards.

The Google Pixel 7a will be Google’s next mid-range smartphone. The phones with the “a” suffix usually appear after the respective major versions for a cheaper price. A leak allows us to see more of the smartphone.

Pictures and a video have now appeared on the leak website Slashleaks, which show the smartphone while it is being held in the hand. The media is not of the best quality, but the larger display frame compared to the Google Pixel 7 (Pro) is clearly visible.

90 Hertz and dual SIM

The video shows a dual SIM function of the new mobile phone. As already suspected, Gizmochina was also able to discover a refresh rate of 90 Hertz.

The phone has since been blocked by Google. It can only start in the bootloader, like that Insider Chunvn8888 on Twitter informed. However, from the photos in the tweet, we now learn that the rumored Pixel 7a comes with 8 gigabytes of RAM – two more than the Pixel 6a – and 128 gigabytes of device storage.

We are currently assuming that the smartphone will appear in summer 2023 and will be presented together with the Pixel Tablet.
