Google has a tradition of offering exclusive or preview software features on its Pixel smartphones. For example, the “magic” features of Google Photos were first available on Pixel devices.

As you probably know, Google Bard, an alternative to ChatGPT, is not yet widely available, and its beta testing is restricted to certain regions. But faced with Microsoft, which integrates Bing Chat based on OpenAI’s GPT-4 with a vengeance, Google is already working on integrating its chatbot into Gmail and Google Docs to automatically generate texts, and would also provide more advanced integration. in Google Pixel smartphones.

Google Bard, exclusively on Pixels?

According to a code analysis by 9to5Google, Google is developing a version of Bard for Android smartphones. However, it’s not yet certain whether Bard will be integrated into Google Search or offered as a standalone app. A widget would also launch with the app, allowing users to interact with the chatbot from their phone’s home screen.

At first, this feature should be reserved for Google Pixel smartphones, such as the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, or the upcoming Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold. This indicates that Google may be prioritizing Pixel smartphone users for access to Bard.
