The GoPro HERO11 Black Mini has been extremely discreet since its postponement. Finally, the camera of the American brand takes us by surprise, since it is now available for sale.
This is an opportunity to come back to the characteristics of this ultra-compact action-cam.
The same (or almost), but smaller
Last September, the GoPro HERO11 Black landed in Europe and around the world. An excellent action camera, but sold at a relatively high price. Fortunately, the manufacturer also had a more affordable Mini version in its boxes. The latter was supposed to arrive on October 25, 2022, but a last minute postponement had then turned everything upside down.
It is therefore without warning that the GoPro HERO11 Black Mini was launched this Tuesday, November 8. Sold at 350 euros with a GoPro subscription and 450 euros without this subscription, the camera can currently only be purchased via the brand’s official website. It has similar features to the base version, including an 8:7 sensor and 360° stabilization. Hyperview mode is also included.

Some more or less notable changes
In the radius of the differences with the standard HERO11 Black, we find quite logically a smaller case and a camera that is both compact and light. The screens have also been removed to free up space on the front and rear of the device. This also reduces the impact on the autonomy of the battery which is not removable here. However, it is still an Enduro capable of withstanding extreme conditions like severe cold.
In addition, additional attachments have been added to the back of the HERO11 Black Mini. The latter can therefore be fixed almost anywhere, which makes it an ideal model for a drone. Finally, since the screen is lacking in this copy, the user must go through the GoPro Quik mobile application to access more specific parameters.
In short, the GoPro HERO11 Black Mini has serious arguments to make!
