(Boursier.com) — GP Bullhound – international investment bank and technology consultancy – announces the opening of BULLHUB, its center of excellence in Malaga (Spain), one of the fastest growing technology destinations fastest in the world.

Ideally located in the historic center of Malaga, GP Bullhound’s new office will be equipped with the latest technology and will house up to 50 of the brightest tech minds in the software, data science, research and design sectors. Coming from all over the world, they will aim to develop cutting-edge technological products and innovative content for the teams, customers and partners of the London firm.

According to GP Bullhound’s latest “Titans of Tech” report released in June 2022, Spain is a fertile market for fast-growing and innovative companies. The country spawned 6 new unicorns in the past year and saw 15 fundraisings above $50 million in 2021 and Q1 2022, at a total valuation of $2.4 billion.

And Malaga is a strategic choice… The city combines many assets, both for tech companies and supporters of telework. GP Bullhound and its 50 employees will benefit from a high quality of life and environment, as well as a strong pool of qualified talent, promoted by a network of leading schools and universities. Ultimately, the investment bank wants to integrate these talents into its advisory and investment teams.

This new place dedicated to innovation and technology will add to the international presence of GP Bullhound, already established through 12 offices on 3 continents. It also consolidates the existing footprint of the investment bank in Spain after the opening of an office in Madrid in 2017, and numerous transactions and investments concluded such as Glovo, Wallapop, Ravenpack, Lingokids or Cooltra.
