The Leboncoin e-commerce site was forced to block any announcement related to the GP Explorer 2, organized by Squeezie in partnership with the FFSA. Many buyers, attracted by the lure of profit, have indeed tried to resell their tickets at exorbitant prices.

These were real scam attempts, the tickets being nominative.

The GP Explorer 2 wakes up the crooks

Next September 9, it will once again be the excitement on the Bugatti circuit of Le Mans with the holding of the GP Explorer 2, this F4 race organized by the youtubeur Squeezie. 21 other videographers will participate, as well as a mystery team which could, according to rumours, be composed of Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, F1 drivers at Alpine. The first edition having been a huge success, we suspected that the tickets for the second would go like hot cakes.

This was indeed the case on May 24, and you had to be quick to get a ticket. The price of these seats was 48 euros, but it didn’t take long for some tickets to end up at crazy prices on eBay and Leboncoin. For a short week, the announcements multiplied, provoking many reactions.

However, Squeezie and his teams have taken care to sell nominative tickets. In other words, access to the circuit is only possible by proving one’s identity. So a ticket bought from someone else does not work. In addition, the resale of dematerialized tickets is prohibited on Leboncoin. To curb the problem, the platform has announced that it has removed all ads and will automatically remove any that may appear.

In accordance with the distribution rules in force, the sale of dematerialized tickets is prohibited on Leboncoin. Ads for the GP Explorer will now be systematically refused automatically by our algorithms. All published advertisements have been removed from the site. »

If you have purchased a ticket and wish to resell it, Squeezie has announced that an official resale platform will be set up during the month of June. This will be the only way to “delete” your name from the ticket.

An event with big resources

On October 8, 2022, Squeezie’s channel goes live for the very first GP Explorer. The stands are filling up, the pilots are getting ready, and the public is streaming in live. After months of preparation, it was the big day for the 22 videographers who had to learn how to handle the cars and sometimes even pass the driving license.

The production was not to be outdone, since the event was filmed and produced by AMP Visual TV, a company specializing in sports competitions. At the head of this device, we found Olivier Denis, who is none other than the director of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. At the height of the race, there were more than 1 million people on the stream, in addition to the 40,000 spectators in the stands.

Announced on April 13, GP Explorer 2 intends to raise the bar even higher, hoping to take advantage of the absence of motor racing that weekend. First of all, there will not be 40, but 60,000 people on site. In parallel, it is no longer 22 drivers who will be on the grid, but 24, with 12 new and 12 old. These are also:

  • Squeezie / Gotaga
  • Kaatsup / Le Bouseuh
  • Djilsi / Theodort
  • Billy /?
  • Sylvain / Pierre
  • Amixem / Etienne Mustache
  • Theo Juice / Mister V
  • Manon Lanza / Depielo
  • Seb / Maghla
  • Maxima Biaggi / AnaOnAir
  • Baghera / Horty
  • Mystery Team

The production should also be at least at the same level as last year, enough to offer some great images for, perhaps, Depielo’s revenge on Sylvain from the Vilbrequin channel.
