GP Explorer 2: participants, schedules… How to follow the Squeezie race

The GP Explorer, the single-seater race organized by videographer Squeezie, returns for a second edition. Organized on the legendary Bugatti Le Mans circuit, discover in this article the essential information to follow the event.

After a rather spectacular trailer, we are on the eve of the big start of this crazy F4 race. With a first 2022 edition which met with great success, Squeezie and its teams could not stop there. This Grand Prix, bringing together for the most part creators of content behind the wheel of single-seaters, will therefore begin on September 9, and the 60,000 tickets have already been sold in 30 minutes. However, it will still be possible to follow the race on Twitch.

This edition, like last year, will last a full day. On the other hand, the race will take place this time on the Bugatti circuit of Le Mans. With a total length of 4,185 meters, it is renowned for its technicality and its long descent of 1 kilometer just after the Dunlop footbridge. Used for several competitions such as the 24 Heures Moto or the Grand Prix de France moto, it also surprisingly hosts more original events, such as the 24 Heures Vélo or the 24 Heures Roller.

Like last year, the drivers chosen for the GP Explorer will travel its route at the wheel of F4, single-seaters homologated by the FIA. Even if they are far from the performance of F1, their maximum speed is still around 220 km/h!

If you don’t have your ticket, the entire event will be streamed live on Squeezie’s Twitch channel. The day will unfold as follows:

• 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.: arrival of pilots
• 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: free practice
• 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m.: visit to the stands
• 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.: surprise events organized on the track
• 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: qualifying session
• 4 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.: pilots’ parade
• 5:25 p.m. to 6 p.m.: installation of the cars on the starting grid
• 6:35 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: start of the race which will last 15 laps
• 7:35 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.: awards ceremony on the podium
• 9:30 p.m. to 11:35 p.m.: concert

In total, 24 budding drivers will take their place on the starting grid, all in pairs and sponsored by various companies. The stables will be composed as follows:
