After a successful first edition for its organizer, Squeezie returns with 23 other influencers and videographers for the GP Explorer 2, this Saturday on the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans, for what promises to be the event of the year on the French internet. A second race which could well explode all the records of the previous edition.
It’s the event of the day, and perhaps even of the year on the French internet. This Saturday, Youtuber Squeezie brings together 24 drivers, internet stars and most of them new to the world of motorsport, for the GP Explorer 2. A Formula 4 car race, the first learning category for young people drivers, which ultimately leads to Formula 1. An event organized in such a way that it has nothing to envy of a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
1 million spectators in front of their screen
The GP Explorer returns for a second edition, the first was crowned with success: 40,000 spectators gathered in the stands and white-hot and a retransmission on the streaming platform Twitch, which had broke audience records with 1 million people in front of their screen. The show was on point with a 15-lap race which saw the YouTuber of the “Vilebrequin” duo, Sylvain, finally win after a fierce fight against another videographer, Depielo.
“You are heroes of motorsport, you command the admiration of the entire world of this sport. I can tell you that several people from the paddock (all the teams that make up Formula 1) follow the GP Explorer” said Julien Fébreau, the Mr. Formula 1 of Canal +, last year.
60,000 tickets sold in 30 minutes
This year, the anticipation is very high and the enthusiasm is just as high. 60,000 tickets were sold in barely 30 minutes and a possible record audience on the internet will undoubtedly be the result. Personalities, influencers, YouTubers and even rappers have trained even harder to be there this Saturday for a new 15-lap race behind the wheel of a single-seater at more than 200km/h.

Formula 1 will be represented by Alpine at the event. The French team is sponsoring two teams this year. Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly will be present in the stands during the race. The start, given at 6:35 p.m., will be followed, as will the entire day, on the Squeezie Twitch channel.
