The lineup for the 63rd Grammy Awards has arrived and promises to be a pretty good show.

Last year was not an easy one for the music industry either. It is now all the more important to emphasize the importance of music, its protagonists and venues at this year's Grammy Awards. The Grammys have announced the full lineup for this year's event. Spectators can look forward to top-class figures from the charts. Billie Eilish (19, "Bad Guy"), Harry Styles (27, "Watermelon Sugar"), Taylor Swift (31, "the 1") and Cardi B (28, "WAP") will perform. Other performances include Black Pumas ("Colors"), BTS ("Dynamite"), Haim ("Gasoline"), Miranda Lambert (37, "Bluebird"), Dua Lipa (25, "Don't Start Now") ), Chris Martin (44, "Fix You"), John Mayer (43, "New Light") and Post Malone (25, "Sunflower") are expected.

How exactly the show will play out this year is not yet known. A teaser that was published on Instagram reads: "One Stage", which suggests that despite the pandemic, all artists will appear on one and the same stage. An announcement on the Grammy homepage reads: "The artists come together and yet are separated from one another to play music for one another and as a community and to celebrate the music that unites us all."

Beyoncé is a top favorite

In addition, "Music's Biggest Night," as the Grammys are commonly called, pays tribute to the independent venues that have been particularly hard hit by the pandemic. This year, bartenders and cashiers from various clubs or concert halls will be presenting the different categories. Cabaret artist and presenter Trevor Noah (37, "color blind") will lead through the evening.

The 63rd Grammy Awards will be held on March 14th and will be broadcast live on CBS. In Germany, the show can only be seen by Telekom customers via MagentaTV and MagentaMusik 360. There, however, both live in the nightly broadcast and on March 15 from 8:15 p.m. With a total of nine nominations, Beyoncé has the best chance of winning big at the Grammy Awards 2021.
