  • Audi R8 Coupe V10 plus ’16

(On sale in Brand Central)

The second generation of Audi’s road-going sports car that shares the name of the Le Mans-winning R8.

Created as a prototype for Le Mans, the R8 name and technology were taken to create the road-legal R8, released in 2006. The car met with worldwide critical success and a second generation of the model was introduced in 2016. Although this new model retains the key concepts of the vehicle, it uses new versions of the lightweight Audi Space Frame chassis made with lightweight materials, as well as their quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. Although aesthetically similar to its predecessor in many respects, almost every exterior detail is completely different. Continuing from the previous model, the engine is a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10. However, even the new base R8 model produces 532.5 hp, which is an improvement of 14.8 hp over its predecessor. The new range also includes the high-performance R8 V10 Plus model which tunes the same engine up to 601.6 hp and adds a fixed rear wing and mechanical LSD as standard.

Lamborghini’s response to the SUV boom.

Introduced in 2018 in response to the SUV boom, the Urus is a Super SUV from the famous supercar manufacturer Lamborghini. Stylized with sharp lines and a bold design similar to mid-range models of the same generation of Lamborghini, the car is based on a specially tuned version of the platform used on other Volkswagen Group full-size SUVs. Mounted up front is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the first forced induction engine ever installed in a Lamborghini, producing 641 hp and 86.68 kgfm. All-wheel drive is a full-time 4WD system with a 40:60 split front and rear by default, which can be adjusted from 70:30 to 13:87 depending on the situation. Additionally, the car is equipped with adaptive air suspension, rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring to deliver the kind of handling and cornering performance worthy of a super SUV. It also offers optional driving modes for off-road and desert driving. Its ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 12.8 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h have made it truly worthy of its title as the SUV fastest in the world when launched.

  • Toyota GT-One (TS020) ’99

(On sale in Brand Central)

Toyota’s endurance racing car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1999.

In the early 90s, Toyota aimed to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans with their TS010. Despite successive failures, the Japanese company returned for the 1998 season with the Toyota GT-One (TS020). During its Group C racing days, Toyota developed its racing cars almost exclusively in Japan. However, they changed their strategy and handed this project over to the group in charge of their World Rally Championship activities, TTE (Toyota Team Europe), and returned to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The new Le Mans car, the GT-One, was designed by Andre De Cortanze, a racing car design genius with an impressive track record in all major disciplines, such as F1, Le Mans or the WRC. De Cortanze designed the Peugeot 905B, the first Peugeot Group C Peugeot car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1992 and 1993, and he incorporated the latest technology from F1 into the design of the GT-One Le Mans car. Its carbon composite monocoque body was developed for aerodynamic performance, and it was equipped with the same 3.6L twin-turbo V8 engine developed during the company’s Group C days. The suspension had very long arms front and rear, allowing for ideal suspension geometry.
