Gran Turismo 7 was released for PS5 and PS4 in early 2022, but the racing game could also be available for PC in the future, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi hinted in an interview with Gran Turismo blog GTPlanet.
Yamauchi could envision the release for PC. “There aren’t many platforms where the game could run in 4K at 60 frames per second. One way to make that possible would be to limit the choice of platforms. It’s not an easy topic, but of course we’re looking at it and consider it,” says Polyphony Digital’s studio boss in an interview.
A release for PC would be quite possible, after all, Sony has been gradually releasing formerly PlayStation-exclusive blockbusters such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man or God of War on Steam for some time.
