Gran Turismo 7 resists but is surrounded by Nintendo


For the third consecutive week, GT7 is in the top of the best-selling video games in France. Nintendo still largely occupies the ranking with Pokémon and Mario Kart 8.

Gran Turismo 7 may have had some failures leading Polyphony Digital to backtrack, but sales are not declining, at least in France. For this new classification of the S11from March 14 to 20, the driving simulator holds a candle to Nintendo. Discover the full Charts France.

The return of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Despite the setbacks that we know of, Gran Turismo 7 does not stray from its trajectory and is still in the top 5 from best selling video games in France. But unlike the last three weeks, it slips to second (PS5) and third place (PS4).

It is followed by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and its Additional Circuits Pass on Nintendo Switch. The essential kart game has indeed been enriched with eight tracks. Unfortunately for Square Enix, Triangle Strategy was hunted down in no time and didn’t last beyond launch. Will he come back?

Finally, on the top step of these France Week 11 Charts, we have another Big N hit: Legends Pokémon Arceus.

Charts France: what are PC gamers playing?

For PC users, things are not moving too much with Elden Ring (Launch Edition) in the lead and Farming Simulator 22. However, in last place in the top 3, the title of FromSoftware (collector’s version) is ejected by Microsoft Flight Simulator. Its sudden reappearance is explained by the Spanish update which sends players to the Iberian Peninsula with new challenges, airports, points of interest etc.
