In addition to meaning that the title will take up a lot of storage space on consoles, we can assume that Grand Turismo 7 should occupy two discs on PS4 against only one on PS5. Indeed, a PS4 disc contains up to 50 GB of data. While a disk on PS5 can go up to 100 GB maximum. As a result, players on PS4 will most likely have to insert a first installation disc before enjoying the title thanks to the second Blu-Ray, if they buy the physical version of the software.
For the moment, neither the development studio nor the publisher in charge have communicated as to the exact weight of the game. We must therefore take this information with a grain of salt and wait for official information to be sure.
