Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.17 Content Revealed – Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo 7 landed at the beginning of last March, exclusively on PS4 and PS5. Since its official launch, the Polyphony Digital studio has been working regularly on the software in order to bring new features and deploy new updates.

On this subject, only a few days ago, the game’s producer, Kazunori Yamauchi, announced that a new patch was about to arrive on Gran Turismo 7. This one was to introduce three new vehicles. At that time, we did not have any additional details. However, that is now a thing of the past.

In effect, the upcoming update, 1.17, now has an official release date. It will be deployed, on Gran Turismo 7, from June 23, at 8 a.m. (French time). This patch will allow players to discover the three new cars following:

• Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special ’98
• Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3 version)
• 1932 Ford Roadster

Additionally, patch 1.17 will introduce additional menusespecially for the Gran Turismo Café:

• Toyota 86 Collection: Opens at Collector Level 20.
• Honda Type R Collection: Opens at Collector Level 20.
• Rotary Engine Collection: Opens at Collector Level 32.

Finally, a new circuit will be added. This is the historical circuit “Watkins Glen International”. According to its description available via an article on the PlayStation Blog site, this circuit is composed like this: the first part gives pride of place to ” high speed sections with medium and high speed turns “. The second half of said circuit comprises, for its part, ” tight and technical turns “.
