We have known for several months now that a Gran Turismo film is soon to hit our screens. Its release is, moreover, set for August of next year in the United States, according to the latest information. However, we were wondering when the filming of the film was going to begin. A question that recently found its answer.
Indeed, Sony Pictures recently announced, notably via an image posted on Twitter, that the filming of the film Gran Turismo has started. This visual communication is accompanied by a few lines briefly presenting the synopsis of the said film:

As a reminder, on the casting side, actor David Harbor (Jim Hopper in the series Stranger Things) will lend his features to a retired pilot who will accompany Jann Mardenborough on the tracks. He will most certainly be a mentor for the young prodigy.
