Sad news from the Luxembourg royal family: Grand Duchess Maria Teresa’s younger brother, 66, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was 64 years old.

“It is with great sadness that Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess announce the death of Mr. Luis MESTRE, the younger brother of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess, who passed away today in Geneva at the age of 64,” is on the Instagram account read by the royal family.
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa has three siblings. It has not yet been announced when Luis’ funeral service will take place.
