(AOF) – The Société du Grand Paris has awarded the Colas Rail / Alstom consortium, of which Colas Rail is the agent, the contract for railway tracks, overhead contact profile and linear equipment for the second batch of line 17 of the Grand Paris Express. With a length of 26.5 km, line 17 will extend over 13 municipalities and will connect 9 stations between Saint-Denis Pleyel and Le Mesnil-Amelot in less than 25 minutes, to facilitate travel for nearly 565,000 inhabitants.
The Colas Rail / Alstom consortium, in charge of lot 2 of line 17, will supply and lay 10 km of railway, the overhead contact profile and linear equipment between Le Bourget Aéroport and the Parc des Expositions, located before Roissy. The work will take place in tunnels, embankments and viaducts over 3 km.
The project will mobilize up to 200 employees. The first works will start by mid-2024.
