Grand Paris Express: Eiffage Énergie Systèmes and Vinci Energies at the forefront















(Boursier.com) — The consortium formed by Eiffage Énergie Systèmes (leader) and VINCI Energies has won the contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of the multi-services network and space monitoring systems for line 18 of the Grand Paris Express for an amount of 60 million euros.
The contract awarded by the Société du Grand Paris covers all of line 18, a major axis of the Grand Paris Express linking Orly airport to Versailles Chantiers station, which has 35 kilometers of tracks, 10 stations and an inter – station of 8 kilometers.

The contract provides:
– setting up the line’s multi-service network, the true backbone of Société du Grand Paris’ information systems;
– the creation of space surveillance systems with the supply of video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection, telephony and intercom systems on the route of the line and on board the trains.

The Eiffage Énergie Systèmes teams, in charge of project management, will carry out with VINCI Energies and in particular its network of Axians companies, the integration of this complex architecture of critical and security systems. The contract also includes a comprehensive study of the implementation of the policy and cybersecurity mechanisms of the Grand Paris Express systems for line 18.

The study missions have already started in order to keep to the schedule with a first deadline to allow the opening of the Orly station. The complete integration is divided into 3 phases with commissioning planned gradually until 2030.

The consortium has undertaken to entrust the execution of 20% of the work to VSEs/SMEs and to devote at least 10% of the hourly volume to integration.
