The laptop intended for creatives will return in a new, much more muscular version, with a completely revised technical sheet.

Presented in 2021, the Surface Laptop Studio is probably not the best-known laptop PC to come out of Microsoft’s laboratories. However, the manufacturer seems confident enough in its product to give it a second chance with a review.

The Surface Laptop Studio will benefit from a technical update, without changing anything to its astonishing design

As a reminder, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio is the portable version of the Microsoft Studio desktop PC. The touch screen can rotate and lie on the keyboard, allowing it to be used as a touch pad.

The computer is designed both for creative people, but also for freelancers or individuals, who want to get the maximum of possibilities with their laptop.

Microsoft is not done with this laptop and is said to be bringing the final touches to the second version, which will be presented by the manufacturer in the spring of 2023.

While we are waiting for an official announcement from Microsoft, several information about the Surface Laptop Studio have been published on the web, in particular about the data sheet that will accompany this new model.

A seriously increased technical sheet

The laptop should not change its design and should even keep the same dimensions, the same 14-inch 120 Hz screen and similar materials. More than a new version, it is a technical update that Microsoft is preparing with the improvement of the components.

Several configurations will be available for sale, more or less expensive to suit all budgets, and in particular one including an Intel Core i7-13800H processor, which was discovered on the benchmark site Geekbench. The first estimates are rather promising, with a score doubled compared to the first Surface Laptop Studio in multi-core.

The device could also be accompanied by an Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card, one of the latest GPUs from the manufacturer, as well as a 64 GB RAM option.

There are only a few weeks left for Microsoft to finalize the launch of its Surface Laptop Studio. Appointment is made next spring to learn more about it.
