Graphics card prices continue to fall – PC-WORLD

Almost all graphics cards are now returning to their US list price on average. AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 cards are even significantly lower.

Due to the price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin, which has been falling for a few weeks, the prices for graphics cards are now falling. The currently weak exchange rate between the US dollar and the euro and the sell-off in favor of the next generation of graphics cards also contribute to this downward trend.

Greatest savings potential with high-end models

With the forthcoming launch of the Geforce RTX 40 series from Nvidia and the Radeon RX 7000 series from AMD, buyers of the most expensive models from the previous generation are currently benefiting in particular. The Radeon RX 6950 XT is already offered by many retailers for 1,199 euros. Their list price is also listed as $1,199. With the competition, the difference to the list price is even greater. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is set at 1,999 euros. In online retail, however, the graphics card can be found on average from 1,399 euros.
