Considered a Stardew Valley-like, Graveyard Keeper is developed by Lazy Bear Games and published by tinyBuild. Being a management and simulation game, the software offers various interesting mechanics, in particular one around the passage of time, and more precisely around the different days. In this guide, we are interested in this aspect of the software by giving you information about the days, their symbol and their meaning.
Days and their symbol on Graveyard Keeper
The interface of Graveyard Keeper is composed of several elements. Thus, the players can in particular see, at the top and left of their screen, a circle representing both the days but also the period of the day experienced (night, morning, etc.). What interests us here is the dial displaying different symbols (as in the picture below).
Indeed, on Graveyard Keeper, each day (six, in total) is affiliated with a symbol, representing an important NPC for which you will need to complete quests. The list below, made up of images, shows you what the symbol of each visitor is (above the visitor’s head) and gives you information as to their location.
Astrologer
Description: “He is wise and tired of everything, even of life”
Location: Near the Lighthouse
Inquisitor
Description: “Better not be his enemy”
Location: At Witch Hill
Trader
Description: “He is always ready to do business. Except at dinner time”
Location: In the Village
Miss Charming
Description: “There’s something you don’t understand about this woman”
Location: In the Village Tavern
Bishop
Description: “His motto: pray, preach and always look like you’ve won the lottery”
Location: In front of the Church
Snake
Description: “Looks dangerous. You understand why everyone calls it snake”
Location: In the basement
Therefore, as you may have guessed, you will only be able to encounter said NPCs when the dial displays their symbol. For example, if you want to talk to the Astrologer, located near the Lighthouse, you will have to wait for the day represented by the moon-shaped symbol, on a blue background. In the same way, in order to visit the Bishop, you will have to go in front of the Church when you will see the symbol on a purple background appear on the dial.
