In comedy horror Mad Heidi, the wise girl from the Swiss mountains has grown up and is back for revenge. The daughter of the Alps created in 1880 by Johanna Spyri is now a warrior and goes on a crusade against a megalomaniac cheese magnate who has become President of a totalitarian Switzerland.
Worn by Alice Lucy and Casper Van Dien, star of Starship Troopers who here embodies the cheese-loving dictator, the feature film claims to be the first film of the “Swissploitation”.
On the program of this dystopia film: magnificent hilly landscapes, traditional clothes and above all cheese… But this time the latter is used to torture opponents of power!
Totally barred, the feature film won the Audience Award at the last Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.
