Baldur’s Gate 3 seems to have already been acclaimed by all, but Larian Studios continues to take care of its cult RPG and confirms that a popular feature will be available.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was one of the big releases of the summer, but we didn’t expect it to devour everything in its path in August. Larian Studios’ RPG is a hit on Steam, but also in the press and on the public side, as the game’s ratings on OpenCritic show. Inevitably, there is something to be impatient for PS5 players, who will have to wait until early September to take advantage of it. For their part, Xbox Series owners could be downright jealous before the developers announced the good news: BG3 is coming to their machine this year and no longer at the beginning of 2024. Baldur’s Gate 3 delights players
Larian Studios Publishing Director Michael Douse makes an announcement that should delight gamers. He indicates that the cross-save, which allows you to recover your saves from one medium to another, will be well functional not only between Xbox Series and PC, as we already knew, but also between PS5 and Xbox Series when Baldur’s Gate 3 will be available on these two platforms. All thanks to our Larian account. Very good news for everyone, especially for Xbox Series players who have the opportunity to start their adventure on another medium before the title is released on their machine.
Remember that even if Michael Douse does not specify it, using the cross-save between the PC version and the PS5 version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will also be possible. Moreover, the feature was deactivated shortly after launch, because it caused major backup problems, before returning in patch 2.1 launched on August 10th.
An RPG that gets pampered
Anyway, the Belgian developers continue to pamper their baby and therefore the huge community that Baldur’s Gate 3 already has. As promised, the studio launched a huge update on August 25th containing more than 1000 fixes and improvements and still intends to add the possibility of modifying the appearance of his character during the adventure, a mechanism requested by the players since the launch.
