After a strong return of a license dear to its heart, FromSoftware intends to continue the adventure with a possible Armored Core 7, according to its director.
This is exactly what Hidetaka Miyazaki said during an interview with IGN Japan. After the warm reception of Fires of Rubicon, FromSoftware could well spoil mecha fans in the more or less near future with Armored Core 7.

Before the sixth opus, the last Armored Core game from FromSoftware dates back to 2012. The very famous Japanese studio then discovered a new passion for dark fantasy and Souls-like. But while Elden Ring will soon welcome its highly anticipated DLC, what’s next on the agenda for Hidetaka Miyazaki’s teams? The idea of an Armored Core 7 has therefore clearly made its way into the very creative minds of Hidetaka Miyazaki and FromSoftware. To say that it will be released soon, however, nothing is less certain. The studio is still working on Shadow of the World Tree for Elden Ring. This will also be its one and only extension. After that, a potential sequel could be considered. But here again, you will undoubtedly have to be extremely patient.
