Disney is celebrating the big “Disney Princess Reading Festival” on November 19, 2021 together with the Reading Foundation
On November 19th, the Disney Princesses will be part of the nationwide reading day. Famous reading godparents, such as presenter and actress Nina Bott or singer Leslie Clio, read stories from the hardcover edition of the story collection published by Carlsen Verlag “Disney: Tales of Courage and Kindness – 14 heroines with courage and heart” before. Children have the opportunity to do the whole thing in the Disney princess playlist can be followed live on the Disney Junior YouTube channel from 10 a.m.

The day becomes particularly magical due to the different and very special locations where the reading godparents go to make their reading hours even more magical.

The start is celebrated by the fantastic adventure of Arielle, which the popular musical actress Elisabeth Hübert reads out. In addition to a great story, fans can also look forward to an impressive backdrop with the Hamburg museum ship of the Rickmer Rickmers. Presenter and actress Nina Bott reads an exciting new story from the Hamburg planetarium about Rapunzel’s dreams, who wants to build an observatory with a huge telescope with the help of a retired lens maker. From a culinary point of view, it becomes the story of Princess Tiana. Tiana runs her own restaurant by name in the story Tiana’s Palace. In line with this, TV chef Nelson Müller not only reads the story, but also reads it from his own restaurant Müller’s on the back. Belle loves reading. She travels to new places through stories, meets new people and sees things from a new perspective. Singer Leslie Clio therefore surrounds herself with many books on reading day in an enchanted, old second-hand bookshop on Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin and reads the story of Belle. In addition, the “Animal Duel” puzzle queen Patricia Strasburger from the Theater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich will read a very special Cinderella adventure. Finally, it goes into the “deep sea”. Disney Channel presenter Beni Weber went underwater especially for the story “Arielle – Meerglanz”.
