According to the ongoing measurements, five of the buildings that were still closed were released early Monday morning, and three other single-family homes were about to be released at noon. “Further approvals go step by step. We hope that everyone can go back today,” says Partoll. Evacuation after a gas explosion As reported, 15 houses in Ansfelden were recently closed. Gas escaped during deep drilling, which led to the explosion and subsequently to the evacuation of a large settlement in Freindorf in Ansfelden. The injured person is fine The owner of the affected house was injured in the gas explosion. Mayor Partoll can now report positive things about him: “According to his daughter, the injured person is doing well again!” The around 60 residents who were not allowed to return home at the weekend stayed with friends and relatives. The district nursing home also served as emergency accommodation. However, the last of the short-term residents moved out there on Saturday.
