Three stars, including Rosamund Pike, are said to be in negotiations for the leading roles in the film "Greatest Days" about the band Take That.
Three well-known actresses are apparently in discussion for the film "Greatest Days", the film adaptation of the musical about the British pop band Take That. According to the US industry portal "Deadline", Rosamund Pike (41, "Gone Girl"), Ruth Wilson (38) and Cush Jumbo (34) are currently negotiating with the production company Sierra / Affinity. However, enforcement has not yet been reported to any of the three.
Like the film, the musical template for "Greatest Days" tells the story of five best friends who adored the same band in their teens. 25 years later the grown-up women lost sight of each other, but their shared passion remained and so they meet again after all the years to attend a concert of the former favorite band.
The film is also produced by Take That itself, various hits from the band's long history should make it into the Feelgood comedy – including, according to "Deadline", a specially written new song. The band says of "Greatest Days": "It is a film dedicated to all those who have supported us over the years. It focuses on our fans." A cinema date is not yet known.
