Will the truth ever come out? Thierry Moser, historical lawyer of Christine and Jean-Marie Villemin, keep hope. For forty years, it has been a matter that has remained unsolved. On October 19, 1984, Grégory Villemin, aged four, was found tied up in the icy waters of Vologne, a few kilometers from his parents’ home, in Lépanges-sur-Vologne, in the Vosges. An affair marked by numerous twists and turns and including the investigation was reopened in 2008 for a new DNA search. For Thierry Moser, “there are still possibilities of elucidation of this terrible crime”. In any case, this is what he puts forward through an interview given to Provence this Friday, February 2.
“Currently, Dominique Brau, president of the investigating chamber, is managing the file, he explains. Today we know, we think we know, we think we know and we certainly know who did what, how, why, in This folder”. Before insuring to have “confidence in the future” concerning this affair which marked his career. “If we obtained in 10 months, 2 years even, the truth emerging, I would be the lawyer and the happiest man in the worldhe specifies. We have convictions, but we must demonstrate them. We count on the fact that tongues can be loosened and on the progress of science.”And, Thierry Moser assures us. Even though he has been retired for four years now, he says to himself ready to put his lawyer’s robe back on “once the investigation into the affair of his life, that of Grégory Villemin, has revealed the truth”.

Since then, Jean-Marie and Christine Villemin have rebuilt their lives. Their lawyer, Thierry Moser, also remained very close to these. “We talk often, we see each other. I love them a lot. We are friends”, he confides. “After the death of Gregory, whom they did not forget for a single moment, they had three children and made sure to protect them so they wouldn’t feel like they were repairing a heartbreak. These three children all succeeded”, he adds. Far from Vologne, little Grégory’s parents had decided to settle in Essonne, in the Paris region. If the Villemin couple are happy, “they lack an answer”.
