The “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig is in private happiness: she has had another boy after her son Harold.
Her “Barbie” film starts today (July 20) in German cinemas. And there is also private news from director Greta Gerwig (39). In the interview with the British “Elle” she revealed the gender of her second child on Wednesday (July 19). Accordingly, she gave birth to a boy a good four months ago. It is the second son together with her partner Noah Baumbach (53).
“He’s a little prankster”
In the interview, the 39-year-old raves about her offspring: “He’s a little rascal.” He has a lot of energy. “He’s a smart little baby.” She also revealed that luckily the little one slept through the night. However, she is currently not getting much sleep as she keeps waking up and running to the cot. “You just want to keep looking at the baby. So I’m in a bit of a twilight state.”
Greta Gerwig announced her second pregnancy in November. Already at the beginning of July “Rolling Stone” reported the birth in spring. Gerwig and Baumbauch have been together since 2011. Not only are they in a private relationship, they also work together. They also wrote the screenplay for the “Barbie” film together. In spring 2019 the first son Harold was born. Baumbach has a son from his marriage to actress Jennifer Jason Leigh (61).
