Greta Thunberg: Has she been suffering from the corona virus for ten days?

The Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg (17) spoke up via Instagram and reported in a long post that she probably had been infected with the corona virus about two weeks ago. Accordingly, she had voluntarily quarantined after showing the first symptoms.

"I started experiencing some symptoms about ten days ago, at exactly the same time as my father – who had traveled with me from Brussels." Although she was not subsequently tested for Corona, she had little doubt that she had become infected. In the meantime, however, she has completely recovered, which she immediately uses for an appeal.

"This is the bottom line: I almost didn't feel sick. My last cold was much worse than that. (…) And that's what makes it so much more dangerous." Young people with little or no symptoms could easily endanger people in the risk group. "We, who are not part of a risk group, have an enormous responsibility. Our actions can mean the difference between life and death for others."
