The winter finale of the 18th season of “Grey’s Anatomy” is once again particularly dramatic. Because the life of a popular character is at stake.
In episode 8 “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” there is finally a heart for Farouk. So Owen, Teddy and Hayes head to Tacoma to get the organ. On the way back, the driver had a stroke and the car got stuck on a cliff.
Teddy can leave the car with his heart and Hayes can break free too. But Owen stays behind in the car when it supports. So is Owen dead?
In Minnesota, Meredith, Amelia and Nick are preparing for David Hamilton’s Parkinson’s operation. But then the team at Hamilton found a perforation in the intestine that first had to be operated on. The Parkinson’s surgery will be postponed.
Schmidt also performs an operation. He operates the podcaster Devon Gomez with the Webber method. But Schmidt decides not to wait for a senior doctor and his patient is bleeding to death on the operating table.
In the meantime, Link has decided that he will be with Amelia and not have to marry her for it. He practices his declaration of love to Jo, which is particularly hard for her, as she now sees more in him than a friend. But when Link tries to reveal his feelings to Amelia, he finds her smooching with Dr. Kai Bartley in front.
