Die-hard Grey’s Anatomy fans will jump to the ceiling! In season 19, which is currently airing in the United States, two key characters from the record-breaking medical series will make a comeback in the November 3 episode. First is Jesse Williams. As Deadline announced, in fact, the interpreter of Jackson Avery will be present in this episode entitled “When I arrive at the border” which he will produce. Lactor left Grey’s Anatomy as a regular character in spring 2021 after 12 seasons. In his last episode of season 17, Jackson Avery left Gray Sloan to move to Boston to take over the family foundation there. He was then followed by his ex, April (Sarah Drew), who moved in with their daughter.
Since then, he has made several notable appearances in the medical series. A few days before the announcement of his return, he explained to People to be still attached to the series. “I love the family that I have on this show, so it will always be a form of home base for me, he confided. And I will always respond to their call positively.” In the episode of November 3, in addition to Jesse Williams, viewers will be able to find Greg Germann. The actor will indeed resume his role of Tom Koracick, according to TV Lines. He had left what had become a regular role on the series in season 17, after winning his battle against Covid-19. At the time, he too had decided to move to Boston to help Jackson Avery run the Catherine Fox Foundation.
