Grey’s Anatomy, the biggest hospital series since “Emergency Room”, has been back on the US channel ABC for a 20-season run since March 14, 2024.
After the dramatic cliffhanger of season 19, fans were eagerly awaiting the start of the new episodes. In Germany, the free TV channel ProSieben shows “Grey’s Anatomy” in its program. The new episodes are available to stream on Joyn. In addition, the streaming service Disney+ showed new episodes shortly after the US broadcast. A start date for the 20th season in Germany is still unknown. We’ll tell you here how you can still watch the season immediately after it airs in the US.

If you don’t want to wait until the new season of “Grey’s Anatomy” is released in Germany, you can use a VPN service to watch the new episodes directly after the US broadcast on the Hulu streaming service. With a trick you can receive Hulu in Germany. To do this, the country block must also be circumvented.
If you have a little patience, you can find the new episodes in the Disney+ program from Australia from March 28, 2024. All you need is a regular Disney+ subscription and a VPN service, then you’ll soon be able to stream the new episodes from Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital every week.
It is also possible to stream the current “Grey’s Anatomy” episodes one week after their US broadcast on the US broadcaster ABC’s website. A VPN connection is also required here, but ABC does not require you to have a subscription.

Grey’s Anatomy: Season 20 streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Disney+
Even without a VPN, it is possible to watch the new episodes of season 20 directly after they air in the US – but only for an additional charge. The current episodes can be purchased on Amazon a few days after the US broadcast.
If you still have a little patience, you can also see the new episodes streaming on Disney+ and Joyn. There you will see the episodes with a slight delay, as a new episode is shown there a week before the ProSieben broadcast.
Grey’s Anatomy: When will the 20th season come to free TV?
It is still unclear when ProSieben will show season 20 of “Grey’s Anatomy”. As a rule, we have to wait around three to six months for it to be broadcast on German television.
