Season finale on “Grey’s Anatomy”
Will Teddy really die?
There seems to be no more help for Teddy in the season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy”. Is actress Kim Raver dying of serial death?
Reunion with Meredith and Maggie
On the sidelines of the Catherine Fox Awards in Boston there is a reunion with Meredith. She left Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital during the season and moved to Boston to pursue Alzheimer’s research full-time. Marsh, who stayed behind in Seattle and was nominated for the award ceremony, travels despite initial skepticism – and there is a long overdue discussion with Meredith and finally a happy ending.
Maggie (Kelly McCreary, 41) can also be seen again in the season finale. She recently left Gray Sloan for her dream job in Chicago, leaving behind her husband, Winston Ndugu (Anthony Hill). Before the award ceremony, both are nominated together, they end up in bed. Their marriage still remains only on paper. Winston is appointed chief of cardio at Gray Sloan in Seattle and Maggie stays in Chicago.
Finally, the coveted Catherine Fox Award goes to the non-nominated Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson, 54) for her fight for abortion rights.
Is any help for Teddy too late?
It finally gets dramatic at the end of the season finale. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver, 54) collapses in the operating room while trying to save the life of patient Sam Sutton (Samuel Page, 46). The residents seem overwhelmed with the situation. While Lucas and Simone take care of the patient, Yasuda (Midori Francis, 29) tries to revive Teddy. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd, 50) rushes into the operating room and sees his wife lying lifeless on the floor. Can he still save his great love?
A dramatic cliffhanger that should leave many “Grey’s Anatomy” fans shocked. Is Kim Raver actually dying of serial death? A look at the season 20 cast seems to provide the answer. Because alongside James Pickens Jr. (Richard Webber), Chandra Wilson, Camilla Luddington and Caterina Scorsone (Amelia Shepherd), Kim Raver has also extended her contract by one season. But how it will continue after the dramatic scenes, the fans will probably find out a lot later than usual.
Strike paralyzes filming
Due to the current double strike in Hollywood, the shooting of “Grey’s Anatomy” has also been delayed. The same applies to the “Grey’s” spin-off “Seattle Firefighters”. It is not yet clear when exactly the new episodes will be shown.
