Because of the corona virus, many American TV series had to stop producing. The popular series of doctors "Grey's Anatomy" also interrupted filming for season 16 for three weeks. But as the broadcaster "ABC" announced, it was decided to stop filming entirely. This is reported, among other things, by the industry paper "Variety".
Season 16 ends on April 9 with the US premiere of Episode 21. When the episode will be shown in Germany is not yet known. The series of doctors usually has 24 or 25 episodes per season. According to "Variety" there are currently no plans to produce further episodes for the season.
