Grey’s Anatomy: “Who am I going to fire?”, the interns are in trouble in the trailer for season 20

While season 20 of “Grey’s Anatomy” will not be broadcast until March 14 in the United States, ABC has just unveiled a first trailer which sees the return of Ellen Pompeo in the skin of Meredith Grey.

The wait is almost over! Season 20 of Grey’s Anatomy, whose production was delayed due to the writers’ strike in Hollywood, will be broadcast on ABC from March 14.

And to keep fans of the medical series waiting until this fateful date, the American channel has unveiled a first trailer which has many surprises in store. What has happened since the finale of season 19, which notably left Teddy between life and death?

Meredith Gray returns

This season 20 will be marked by the return of Ellen Pompeo in the skin of Meredith Grey, since the actress appears in the first seconds of this trailer. His presence therefore suggests that the character will be present in this new burst of episodes.

We can see her in the company of Doctor Bailey (Chandra Wilson) who lets her know that “the interns are in trouble”. Problems that could well result in the departure of one of the interns at Gray Sloan Memorial since Nick wonders which of them he will be able to fire.

This trailer also reveals details about other Grey’s Anatomy characters. Teddy Altman, who had a heart attack in the OR in the season 19 finale, is in critical condition. The character should not, however, die since Kim Raver, his interpreter, had renewed his contract even before the episode aired.

For his part, Doctor Webber (James Pickens Jr.) must resist the temptation to drink a glass of vodka and tonic. On the heart side, Simone and Lucas will have to think about the future of their love story, while Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Link (Chris Carmack) are now a couple.
