Singer Rita Ora (29, "How to be Lonely") mourns the loss of her grandmother Fatmush Bajraktari. On Instagram, she shared the message with her fans: "Dear Nani, you were the most glamorous, chic, hard-working, most independent person I have ever met. Every day she went for a fully stylish walk to get her coffee and didn't let anyone help."
The native Kosovo Albanian also describes her grandmother: "She was so loving, strong and soooo funny." She will miss her every day, writes Rita Ora. "Rest in peace next to grandfather and I know you will protect us. Don't celebrate too much up there!"
Her grandfather Osman, who worked as an Albanian consul in Russia, passed away a few years ago. The entire family fled Kosovo to London in 1991 because of political persecution.
