Grill den Henssler: Autumn season awaits the audience with special features

Steffen Henssler competes against prominent amateur cooks: The autumn season of "Grill den Henssler" has some special features in its luggage.

Finally the duel is on again: In the autumn season of "Grill den Henssler" (from October 25th, 8:15 pm on VOX and via TVNow), professional chef Steffen Henssler (48) competes against prominent candidates in the cookery battle. Not only the amateur cooks will surprise, also the professional will provide an unfamiliar sight.

World champion and surprise guest

With Roman Weidenfeller (40), a soccer world champion will be behind the stove in the cooking show for the first time. The former Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper has to prove himself in the first episode – and with him Joey Heindle (27) and Charlotte Würdig (42). Model Larissa Marolt (28) and comedian Dieter Nuhr (59) follow in episode two. A surprise guest is also waiting for "Grill den Henssler" presenter Laura Wontorra (31): her father Jörg Wontorra (71) will take care of dessert.

In episode three Micky Beisenherz (43), Ralf Moeller (61) and Lilly Becker (44) start. This is followed by Luca Hänni (26), Chryssanthi Kavazi (31) and singing duo Marianne (67) and Michael (71). Then Amiaz Habtu (43), Vera Int-Veen (53) and musician Götz Alsmann (63) as well as Tobias Wegener (27), presenter Oliver Pocher (42), his pregnant wife Amira (28) and Pocher's ex-wife Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (37) put their cooking talent to the test. At the end of the season it will be Christmassy: In "Grill den Henssler – The Christmas Menu", Nikolaus (December 6th) will have "Let's Dance" juror Joachim Llambi (56) and the presenters Laura Karasek (38) and Sonja Zietlow (52) .

A "new" Steffen Henssler

Steffen Henssler is also put to a tough test this season: After a sports injury, he has to get support in his kitchen for the first time. As VOX reported, the star chef injured himself doing sports in the morning before the third episode was recorded. During the dessert round, he finally left the show to receive medical care. Reality TV star Detlef Steves (51) stepped in for him. Henssler's permanent rival was spontaneously coached by the professional and became his "extended arm" on the show.

Reiner Calmund (71), Mirja Boes (49) and "restaurant tester" Christian Rach (63) will once again judge how Steves, the celebrities and Steffen Henssler have done. After two seasons without an audience, there will be spectators again in the "Grill den Henssler" autumn season under strict hygiene requirements.
