Grilled chickens: what is the France 3 TV movie adapted from?

This Tuesday, April 26, France 3 will broadcast a new TV movie that promises to be a nice hit. “Grilled Chickens” is a burlesque thriller that mixes the middle of the police and the humor of a brigade of broken arms. Find out what this scenario is adapted from which has everything to please.

Are you a fan of good old well-knit polar fleeces? Then “Grilled Chickens” is for you. This Tuesday, April 26, this police TV movie will be broadcast in prime time on France 3. And the least we can say is that the synopsis is enticing : after a big mistake that earned her a layoff, a policewoman from the Lyon BRI, Anne Capestan, is reinstated in her police station. Problem : she finds herself in the closet by being appointed head of a brigade well known for being composed only of “broken arms”.

His new colleagues? Lebreton, a depressive widower (Hubert Delattre), Eva, a queen of erotic thrillers (Marie-Armelle Deguy), Max, a shy sickly traumatized by the darknet (Mohamed Belhadjine) and, in a girl persuaded to wear the eye, nicknamed … ”The bad luck” (Marie Petiot). It must be said that in this brigade that everyone nicknames “the grilled”, there are only alcoholics, crazy people and lazy people that the police can’t get rid of.

A successful literary series that has everything to work on the small screen

The frame is set. And it has everything to give viewers a great time when they turn on their TV on France 3 this Tuesday evening. But a question arises: who had the idea of such a synopsis? This TV movie is based on one of Sophie Hénaff’s novels, of which the literary series of the same name is a beautiful nugget. Interviewed by the newspaper Le Progrès, the writer returned to what prompted her to write “Grilled chickens”.

“I arrived in Lyon for my studies. I looked for a little job: I found myself at the Accessory café-théâtre, and I stayed there for seven years! It was great, I learned humor on stage, efficiency, rhythm. I also really liked the spirit of the troops. My characters are inspired by it. I then became a journalist at CTV, at Lyon Poche, then I went to Paris, to go to Cosmopolitan”. If this telefilm brings together many spectators, there is no doubt that his other novels will in turn be adapted.
