GROLLEAU: GROLLEAU CONTINUES TO DEVELOP ITS INTERNATIONAL STRATEGY ON THE TELECOM MARKET: FIRST ORDER IN LIBERIA AND DELIVERY IN SCOTLAND – 09/27/2022 at 17:50

Montilliers – September 27, 2022. Grolleau (ISIN Code: FR0014005ZM5 / Mnemonic: ALGRO) announces that it has won an order for two modular shelters for a data center with the Orange group in Liberia and confirms that it has delivered a new fiber optic shelter (NRO) for Axione in St Andrews in Scotland. These contracts illustrate Grolleau’s desire to accelerate its development outside the borders. These commercial successes are also recognition of Grolleau’s know-how and the loyalty of its historical Tier 1 customers, who reiterate their trust in the company in the context of international contracts.

After an initial success with Orange in Côte d’Ivoire with the installation of five NRO shelters (optical connection node

) during the 2020-21 financial year, Orange Liberia signed a first order with Grolleau for the deployment and installation of two all-in-one modular shelters for its data center technical center in Monrovia, Liberia.

These two shelters will have to be built in a short time and shipped by the end of the calendar year. This contract represents an amount of around €0.4 million, which will contribute to revenue for the 2022-23 financial year.

Installed less than a meter from each other, each will have its own functionality, one energy and the other telecom data, and bring together all the latest technologies and Grolleau’s know-how. The structures will be equipped with several optimized cooling systems.

The shelters will be supervised remotely and secured with the use of an electric lock, a fire extinguishing system and an anti-intrusion system with video surveillance. These supervision tools will make it possible to trace all the technical states of the two shelters and to carry out an on-site diagnosis by the maintenance teams.

As a reminder, Orange has been a historical customer of Grolleau for about ten years.

With this new success with a major client in the telecoms market, Grolleau demonstrates its technical know-how and its strong expertise in the telecoms market, but also the dynamics of Grolleau Africa’s sales teams.

DELIVERY OF A NEW NRO SHELTER WITH AXIONE IN SCOTLAND

Axione, a subsidiary of the Bouygues group, a major player in the digital development of rural and urban areas, has chosen Grolleau for the deployment of NRO shelters in the United Kingdom. Axione has been a historical customer of Grolleau since 2008 in France and now calls on Grolleau internationally.

This light shelter delivered in September 2022 to the town of St Andrews (Scotland) follows that of the town of Shotts (Scotland) in May 2022. Two other NRO shelters should be delivered to Scotland at the end of the year according to the Axione’s current calendar. Other orders should follow as part of the deployment of optical fiber in the United Kingdom.

Upstream co-design work, carried out with Axione, made it possible to define the specific technical configurations of the light shelters. The Grolleau data collection solution allows monitoring of these NROs and provides the customer with support and analysis, remotely, in the event of a potential alarm being triggered.
