Man United won their top game against Spurs
With a win in the top game, Manchester United brings a little bit of tension back to the Premier League title race. Mourinho’s Tottenham, on the other hand, must bury the dream of the Champions League – two German coaches can continue to hope.
Manchester United took advantage of league leaders Manchester City’s slip and reduced the gap to eleven points. The English soccer champions won 3-1 (0-1) at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday and made up ground on their local rivals, and United also has one game up its sleeve. City had lost 1: 2 (0: 1) against newly promoted Leeds United on Saturday.
The Brazilian Fred (57.) with his first goal of the season and the 19-year-old Mason Greenwood (79./90.+6) scored for United after the break.
