Grounded brings together more than 15 million players

It’s a great achievement for the survival game. Released in version 1.0 on September 27 after several months of early access, Grounded has convinced more than 15 million players to come and visit the garden. After all who has ever been curious to see what life looks like when shrunk to the size of an ant.

A success possible in particular thanks to the investment of the gaming community. Indeed, since its launch in early access, Grounded has been largely built on feedback from players. And it is thanks in particular to the feedback received on version 1.0 that the Obsidian Entertainment teams will offer a special update, which should arrive just in time for the holiday season. It will bring new gameplay mechanics, as well as features designed for the comfort of the game.

Players will soon be able to use zip lines to go up, and thus access places they want to explore much faster. A new trap will also make its arrival, allowing you to protect your base against the most invading creatures. Finally, new decorative elements will also be present in the update. A Christmas “tree” will also be accessible throughout the month of December.
